He is survived by: his wife Cindi; his son John Saltzgiver (Martha); his son-in-law Russel Safran (Marie); his grandchildren, Kai Saltzgiver, Alexandra Safran, Sydney Safran, Jessica Safran and Gregory Tyler; his siblings, Mary Ann Petersen, Sarah Skridla (Steve), Paul Saltzgiver (Jennie) and Cynthia Carlson (Mike); and his brother-in-law Ross Ellison (Nancy).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory - Riverside (3910 N Rockton Ave, Rockford, IL 61103). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM.
