With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frank J. Vainisi Jr. (Rockford, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 27, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Vainisi Sr. and Sarah A. Vainisi. He is survived by: his wife Ana Vainisi (Fracchia); his children, Angela Raquel McKinney (Vainisi), Michael McKinney, Sara Marie Termini (Vainisi), Vincent Termini and Joseph Frank Vainisi; his grandchildren, Eli James Termini, Anthony Angelo Termini, Zoey Rose McKinney and Michael McKinney; his sisters, Petrina Sclafani and Mae Lewan; and his nephew Tom Genovese. He is also survived by many nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as an abundance of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Rita Catholic Church (6254 Valley Knoll Dr, Rockford, IL 61109). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
