With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Felicia Fort of Rockford, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2024 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leanette Fort and William Miller; and her brothers, Marcus Fort and Thomas Fort. She is survived by: her sister Tamekia Ross; her nephew Marquez Fort; her aunts and uncles, Louiza Curtis, Pearline Purifoy (Clyde), Kathy Safford, Sonya Marshall, Gail Fort, Stanley Fort (Karen), Cal Fort (Jackie) and Freddie Blake; her godchildren, Zynia Stewart, Liberty Simmons, Aurora Young and Shatoria Miles; and her cousins, Donnie Fort, Rhonda Fort, Roshonda Safford, LaShonda Modest (Seneca) and Nigel Stewart. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church (2919 19th St, Rockford, IL 61108). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
