She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas C. Hand; her parents, Fay Mordt and Ella Mordt; and her brother Warren. She is survived by: her pet Beau; her daughters, Martha Frantz (Marti) and Sara Leib; her sons-in-law, Lyle and John; her grandsons, Aric (Jody), Adam Frantz (Joanna), John (Kathryn) and Daniel Leib (Briana); and her great grandchildren, Meghan, Adelyn, Isabel Frantz, Ella Frantz and Thomas Leib.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Music Academy in Rockford.
