She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Sims and Queen Ester Sims; her husbands, Claude Puifoy and Junior C. Owens; and her siblings, Rev. Charles Sims (Lena), Elroy Sims, Lewis C Sims, Annie Pearl Sims, Lula Armstrong, Jean Bradford and Zannie Strong.
She is survived by: her siblings, Della Sims, Robert Sims and Roosevelt Sims (Peggy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
