Elaine M. Pfluger Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine M. Pfluger (Rockford, Illinois), who passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Labunski and Nell Labunski; her husband Bob; her sons, Mark and David; her son-in-law William Elliott; and her sister Rita DeWall.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ron Labunski (Cherrie), Sandy Vitale (Gene) and Ray Labunski (Pam); her sister-in-law Virginia Pfluger; her children, Dan Pfluger (Dawn), Tom Pfluger (Daniele), Deb Seynemeier (Scott), Barbara Pfluger (Bill Allen), Diane Wellwerts (Mike) and John Pfluger (Dawn); and her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Pfluger. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A rosary was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory - Riverside (3910 N Rockton Ave, Rockford, IL 61103). Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A Mass was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St James Church (428 N 2nd St, Rockford, IL 61107). A burial was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery - Winnebago/Rockford (8616 W State Rd, Winnebago, IL 61088).
