Edward Daehne Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Daehne of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on April 4, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Moquin and Darlene Moquin. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Moquin; his children, Nicole Gruner, Chad Daehne (Michelle) and Jeremy Daehne; his grandchildren, Kahli Houdek (Scott), Garrett Daehne, Nolan Gruner, Aiden Gruner and Kira Daehne; his great grandchild Julianne Houdek; his sister Peggy Lake (Jim); his nieces, Chandra Vitale (Jim) and Heather Wanger (Lance); and his nephew Nathan Moquin (Merissa).
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church (343 Grand Ave, Loves Park, IL 61111). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in his name at a later date.
