It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Inskeep of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris Inskeep to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Sandlund and Ruth Sandlund (Johnson); her son David Inskeep; her granddaughter Elly Ruth Nesse; and her siblings, Howard Sandlund and Nancy Cederberg.
She is survived by: her husband Charles W. Inskeep M. D.; her children, Lois Schlueter (Dirk), Gail McGraw (Joe), Carol Ann Nesse (Scott), Amy Inskeep and James Inskeep (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Jessica McDonald (Nathan), Kari McDonald (Jordan), Kathleen Mejia (Will), Victoria McGraw, Elizabeth Walsh (Ryan), Margaret McGraw, Joseph McGraw (Jess), Travis Nesse (Heather), Taylor Nesse, Brooks Nesse (Rachel), Bobby Nesse (Heather), Amy Holcomb (Tyler), Molly-Ann Nesse, Peter Nesse and Madeleine Hewitt (Jonathan); and her great grandchildren, Griffin McDonald, Charles Mejia, Eli McGraw, Hadley Nesse, Ethan Nesse, Rowan Nesse, Soren Nesse and Desmond Holcomb.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Stonebridge Church (5183 Pebble Creek Trail, Loves Park, IL 61111). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
