Donald W. Hansen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald W. Hansen of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on December 28, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hansen and Ruth Hansen (Dougherty); and his wife Caroline M. Hansen. He is survived by: his children, Cathy Ward (David), Donald Alan Hansen and David Hansen; his grandchildren, Tracy Beecher (Cale), Libby Ward (Trace Noack), Michael, Joshua and Eric Hansen; and his siblings, Judith Harland (John) and Richard Hansen (Vida). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Honquest Family Funeral Home-Loves Park Chapel (4311 N Mulford Rd, Loves Park, IL 61111). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society in Donald's honor.
