She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leonard Magnuson and Opal Magnuson; her husband Wilfred K. Weidler; her siblings, Linda Lorenz (Thomas), Gail Lee (Steven), Tracy Gannon (Michael), Bruce Magnuson (Pam) and Craig Magnuson (Andrea); her nieces, Leslie Morgan (Roger), Michele Malloy (Matthew), Lauren Schultz (Andrew), Jessica Jimenez (Alejo) and Katie Magnuson; and her nephew Kevin Magnuson.
She had recently retired from her job as a supervisor in the Alzheimer's Disease Center lab at Rush University, having previously worked at Loyola in a similar position for 22 years.
