He was predeceased by: his mother Catherine Matheson. He is survived by: his wife Tracy Matheson (Lazzaro); his daughters, Nicole Larson (Levi) and Jaclyn Matheson; his father James Matheson; his brother James Jr. "Fred" Matheson (Wendy); and his family David.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel (1860 S Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL 61108).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a cause to be determined.
