He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Lapp and Hazel Lapp; his brother Charles Lapp; and his sister-in-law Beverly Lapp. He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Lapp; his children, Ted Lapp (Kiki), Kathy Lewellen (Shawn) and Steve Lapp (Anne); his grandchildren, Matthew Lapp, Peyton Lapp, Tyler Lewellen, Paige Lewellen, Brooklyn Lewellen, Chase Lewellen, Ashley Hill (Jake), Hunter Lapp, Kelsey Lapp and Emily Lapp; his great grandchild Estelle Hill; and his sister Kathy Baghdassarian (Sahag). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Delehanty Funeral Home (401 River Ln, Loves Park, IL 61111). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Scandinavian Cemetery (1700 Rural St, Rockford, IL 61107).
