He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Metras and Chriean Metras (McGrew); his granddaughter Cathleen Madigan; and his siblings, James, Ed, Sharon, Beverly and Gerry.

He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Metras (Gina), Jill Kutter (Anthony) and Cynthia Madigan (John); his spouse Johnetta Engelkes Metras; and his children, Mike (Kathi), Engelkes, Brian Engelkes (Lori) and Rhonda Troutt (Dan).
