As Arturo departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Arturo may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Arturo leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustine Cardenas and Eloise Cardenas; his brother Arnoldo Cardenas; his son Arlando Cardenas; and his close friend Helen Langsholt.
He is survived by: his children, Arthur Cardenas Jr. (Anita) and Gina Cardenas; and also, Elsie Nunez (Mike), Gloria Cudia, Armando Cárdenas (Jesse) and Arnulfo Cárdenas. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tony Gasparini Funerals (4301 N Main St, Rockford, IL 61103). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
