He was predeceased by: his parents, Smith Haney and Madge Haney (Phipps); his daughter Bianca "Beebe" Barnes (Steve) of Rockbridge; and his brothers, Eugene, Alfred and Joe Haney.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Urhahn; his children, Cheryl "Cherie" Vinyard (Joseph) of Greenfield and John Haney II (Sandra) of Le Roy; his grandchildren, Aaron Barnes of Rockbridge, Benjamin Vinyard (Ashley) of Carlinville, Cody Vinyard (Morgan) of Greenfield, Paige Vinyard of Carlinville, Anna, John Clark and Katie Haney; and his great grandchildren, Cade, Chloe, Claire, Cash Vinyard of Carlinville, Dean, Landon and Tate Vinyard of Greenfield.
