It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty L. Johnson of Rockbridge, Illinois, born in Jerseyville, Illinois, who passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Thiel and Ada Thiel (Reno); her husband Wayne Johnson; her son Rodney Johnson; her brother Ornan Thiel; and her great great grandchild Newt Custer.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Johnson (Linda) of Shipman and Ann Walden (Lou) of Rockbridge; her grandchildren, Shelly Custer, Tonya Fenton, Jennifer Walden-Pond, Scott Gage, Kyle Johnson, Jeffrey Johnson and Jared Johnson; and her daughter-in-law Cindy Johnson. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Rockbridge Methodist Church or the Witt Cemetery.
