He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan McMeekan and Martha McMeekan (Edgar); his son Scott Allen McMeekan; his stepdaughter Becky Klabunde; his sister Carolyn; and his brother-in-law Glenn Starman.
He is survived by: his former spouse Beverly Anderson (Forsyth); his daughter-in-law Joy Bush (Brian); his stepsons, Oly Anderson (Karen), Rick Anderson (Precy) and Jeff Anderson (Gail); his granddaughters, Kelsi, Sydney and Isabella McMeekan; and his brother Lane McMeekan (JoAnn).
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home & Crematory (201 4th Ave E, Milan, IL 61264). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Andalusia Cemetery South 1st.
