Richard Friedel Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Friedel (Rock Island, Illinois), who passed away on February 10, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Friedel and Leone Friedel (Wood); his wife Marlene J. Kordick; and his siblings, William and Mary Therese.

He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Sautter (James) of Blue Grass; his grandsons, John and William; his son Thomas Friedel (Dana) of Dubuque; his grandchildren, Monica and Joseph; and his siblings, Ronald Friedel (Sandy) of Brown Deer, John Friedel (Jennifer) of Green Bay, Wis, Julie Petrie (Tom) of Fond and Lac. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Memorials may be made in care of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Alleman High School or Jordan Catholic School, all of Rock Island.
