With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Milo G. McCowan of Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on August 13, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex McCowan and Julia McCowan (Moore); his wife Barbara McHenry; and his brother Lawrence McCowan. He is survived by: his children, Miya Reed and Milo Reed; his grandchildren, Leanna Reed, Milo B. Reed, Marlo Reed, Mylan Reed, Elijah Daniels, Mikayla Reed, Darnell Conner Jr., D'Leyah Conner and D'Milo Conner; and his brothers, Jay McCowan (Bernadette) and Alex McCowan. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
