He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Poling and Edna Schaefer Poling; and his brother Jerry Poling. He is survived by: his wife Norma; his sons, Randy Poling (Laura), East Moline, Ron Poling (Aleksandra), Oceanside, Rick Poling (Kim), Andalusia, Kevin Poling, Bluffton and Kent Poling (Vickie); and his stepsister Nancy Snow. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the National Epilepsy Foundation.
