He is survived by: his wife Joan McCracken; his children, Kari Hildebrant (Matthew), Erin Dempsey-Rohr (Gary), Steven Dempsey, Joshua Billiet, Jared Billiet (Megan) and Janelle Schumacher; and his brother Richard Dempsey. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
