With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ermalinda C. Ahlgren (Rock Island, Illinois), who passed away on February 21, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Castro and Jessie Castro (Delgado); her husband Donald J. Ahlgren; and her siblings, Charlotte, Mary Ellen Ortiz, Lupe Herrera, Peter, Richard, David and Joseph Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Heather Flynn (Tim) of Iowa City, IA and Christie Myers of Moline, IL; her grandchildren, Jessica, Erin and Neil; her great grandchildren, Isabella, Jakob and Owen; and her siblings, Ernestine Ortiz of Rock Falls, IL and Paul Castro (Susan) of Bettendorf, IA.
A memorial fund has been established in her honor. Keep Ermalinda's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
