We bid farewell to Dawn A. Varadi of Rock Island, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 9, 2024 at the age of 61. Dawn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Moore and Margaret Moore; and her husband Antal "Tony" Varadi. She is survived by: her significant other Brian Hale; her sons, Michael and Daniel Tallon (April Harrington); her stepchildren, Megan McGaughey (Bob) and Nicolas Varadi (Katherine); her siblings, Robyn Jones and Scott Moore; her niece Jennipher Jones; her nephew Aaron Jones; and her grandchildren, Ava, Lindley, Finn, Arwen and Theodore. She is also survived by other family and friends who were, truly, her extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (3030 7th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Alban's Episcopal Church (3510 W Central Park Ave, Davenport, IA 52804).
