Clarence L. Cross Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clarence L. Cross of Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on February 27, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cook Cross and Lillian Cross (Weikert); his wife Alberta F. Dennis; his children, Carol Cross and Jim; his daughter-in-law Donna Cross; and his brothers, Lawrence Cross, Sr., Kenneth Cross and Harold Cross.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike Cross (Thom Gerke) of De Pere, WI, Mark Cross (Connie Lairmore) of Milan, IL and Tim Cross (Kandice Miles) of Eldridge, IA; and his brothers, Richard Cross of Battle Creek, MI and Ronald Cross (Cindy). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gibson - Bode Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd. - Erie (616 Main St, Erie, IL 61250). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Erie Cemetery (1439 Albany St, Erie, IL 61250).
Memorials may be made to the family for a charity to be established.
