With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol V. Knutson of Rock Island, Illinois, born in Morris, Illinois, who passed away on June 27, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Carol may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole Hagen and Alphina Hagen (Olson); and her husband Wesley Knutson. She is survived by: her sister Nancy Bahr (Al) of Sugar Grove, IL; and her children, Dale Knutson (Jan) of Rio, IL, Cheryl Barr (Micheal), Daryl Knutson (Teresa) of Davenport, IA and Alan Knutson (Julie) of Waterloo, IA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
