She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Mae Cursey and Andrew Jett; her son Richard Jett; and her siblings, Stanford Cursey, Julious Cursey, Walter Harris Jr., Andrew Jett, Mozell Finley, Beatrice Payne and Nettie Washington.
She is survived by: her sister Freddiestean Orr; her children, Ronald, Reginald Jett, Rita Jett and Retina Rummels (Derrick); and her close friend Jim Harrington.
