We bid farewell to Andrew P. Martel of Rock Island, Illinois, born in Moline, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 29, 2024 at the age of 79. Andrew touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Martel and Porfiria "Vicky" Martel (Moreno); and his siblings, Denise, Bob, Donny, Marsh, Rueben and Jim.
He is survived by: his children, Todd (Sonja) and Tanya Noble; his grandchildren, Alex (Brittney), Lauren Martel and Nathan Noble; and his siblings, Anita Burke San (Terry), Dan Martel of Las Vegas, NV, Joe Martel (Pat), Stan Martel of Aurora, CO, Matt Martel, Paul Martel, Jr. (Sue) and Micah Martel of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
A rosary was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Rafferty Funeral Home (2111 1st Street A a, Moline, IL 61265, USA). Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church - Moline (1307 17th Ave, Moline, IL 61265).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Alleman Baseball or University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Pulmonary Fibrosis.
