With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Amanda Bales-Eckstein of Rock Island, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2025 at the age of 38. She was predeceased by: her brother Justin Bales; and her grandparents, Richard, Carolyn Mulica, Larry, Liz Eckstein and Mary Lake.

She is survived by: her father Randy Eckstein (Shawna); her fiancé Andrew Smith; her daughter Carolyn Eckstein; her mother Candy Barrell (Richard); and her siblings, Dana Coers, Nicole Lacey, Jadyn Rutter, Jacob Kirby, Jeremiah Kirby and Luke Eckstein.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home (201 4th Ave E, Milan, IL 61264). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
