He is survived by: his parents, Fernand, Jr. Brien and Lois Annette Brien (Joslin); his children, Haley Carrell of Sterling, Austin Brien of Rock Falls and Treven Brien of Rock Falls; and his sisters, Betsy Walker of Rock Falls, Jennifer Walker of Freeport and Gina Medina (Izzy) of Sterling. He is also survived by four nieces; six nephews; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
