He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Barnet and Eileen Barnet; and his brother Donald Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Jennifer Whitebread, Michelle Boesen (Ken), Cari Schier (Jason), Kayla Ackert (Edward), Sandra Barnet, Tiffaney Wessels, Dustin Wessels, Melinda Beckman and Priscilla Young; and his grandchildren, Cole, Ella Whitebread, Bailey, Olivia, Kenny, Rebecca Boesen, Jasmine, Cade, Ava, Evan Schier, Grace, Evelyn Ackert and Stella Bess.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home- Rock Falls (1002 12th Ave, Rock Falls, IL 61071).
