He is survived by: his wife Mary Allen (Woodson); his son Robert Allen (Cheryl) of Sterling; his son-in-law Mark Ward of Prophetstown; his siblings, Terry Nichols (Bonnie) of Dixon and Annie Vroman (Harry) of Rock Falls; his grandchildren, Dr. Meghan Ward, Ethan Ward, Austin Allen, Chandler Allen, Nathan Blackburn, Ryan Blackburn and Reid Blackburn; and his great grandchildren, Iris Allen, Millie Allen and Stetson Ward.
Memorials may be given in his memory to Rock River Hospice & Home; and the Rock Falls United Methodist Church.
