He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd J. Gipson and Jean L. Gipson (Welker); his brother Dennis; and his grandparents, Jess, Jessie Gipson, Daniel and Catharine Welker.
He is survived by: his husband Tim Harridge; his daughter Danielle Bertrand (Jeff); his granddaughter Norah Bertrand; his sister-in-law Candy Gipson; his nieces and nephews, Brett Gipson, Chad Kimmel, Jessica Hoerner (Brandon) and Amy Kimmel; his great-nephews, Mason Hoerner, Michael Everly and Brayden Everly; and his cousin Debbie Gipson.
Memorials may be made to Happy Tails Animal Shelter in Rock Falls and to the Sisters of Loretto in Nerinx, KY.
