He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jane Battles; his daughter Karla; his granddaughters, Jennifer Marie Knox and Christina Galvan; his great grandchild David Lewis; his brother Kenneth Knox; and his sons-in-law, Dave Galvan Sr. and Karl Ploessel.
He is survived by: his children, Terri Galvan, Randy Knox and Reid Knox; and his sister Peggy Scanlan. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home- Rock Falls (1002 12th Ave, Rock Falls, IL 61071). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
