He is survived by: his wife Karen Gail Elmendorf; his children, Rob Allen (Amy) of Manlius, Kristina Schauff (Dan) of Galt and Kathleen Allen of Berrien Springs; his grandchildren, Greg Allen (Taylor), Kathryn Schauff, Ryan Allen (Hannah) and James Schauff; and his great grandchild Heather Allen.
