Shepard of Rock Falls, Illinois, born in Morrison, Illinois, who passed away on April 27, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Louis and Marion Shepard (Weeks); and his grandchildren, Tyler Joe Crawford and Ashley Crawford. He is survived by: his wife Lucy; his children, Jerry Shepard, Sr. of Rock Falls, Brenda Crawford (Joe) of Rock Falls and Ricky Shepard of Rock Falls; his siblings, Janice Cady of Morrison, Karen Breaiton (Mike) of Morrison, Diane Peppers (Jack) of Morrison and Kent Shepard (Terrie) of Morrison; and his friend Kevin Froeter. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
