He was predeceased by: his parents, George Knight and Nellie Knight (Reisinger); his wife Mary Knight; his siblings, Dorothy Ross, Joyce Anderson, Janice Cantu and Richard Knight; and his grandson Raymond Jankowski.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Knight (Ryan Lynam) and Kristopher Knight of Omaha, NE; his sister Carol Weeks (Sonny) of Rock Falls; and his niece Judy Edison (Robert) of Sterling. He is also survived by three grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
