Nettie I. Dever Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nettie I. Dever of Rock Falls, Illinois, who passed away on December 30, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Earl and Velma Mae Hunter (Johnson); her children, Christopher Dever and Shelby Gordon; and her siblings, Alice Ruth, Sandra Sisson and Robert Lee Hunter.
She is survived by: her son Richard "Mike" Dever (Lisa) of Roscoe; and her siblings, Wanda Holcomb of Rock Falls, Earl Hunter of Jonesboro, AR, Danny Hunter (Marie) of Hardy, AR and Billy Hunter (Johnnie) of Lafe, AR. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home- Rock Falls (1002 12th Ave, Rock Falls, IL 61071). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
