He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lowell Rhodes and Ida Rhodes (Snelling); his wife Mary Mears of Sterling; his children, Michelle Ogan (Steven) of Sterling, Deanna Schultz of Rock Falls and Dustin Rhodes of Rock Falls; and his sisters, Cathy Scoval of Sterling and Suzie Bellini (Larry) of Rock Falls. He was also cherished by six grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
