It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann Dettman (Rock Falls, Illinois), who passed away on August 8, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Cowley and Mary Cowley; and her siblings, Donna Matznick (Chuck), Carol Jacobs, Robert Cowley, William Cowley, Johnny Cowley and Frederick Cowley.
She is survived by: her husband Elmer Eugene Dettman; her daughters, Karen Schryver (Wayne) of Milledgeville and Vicki Stokes of Belmont, NC; and her siblings, Peggy Drew (Fred) of Rock Falls, Dixon of Rock Falls, Jane Koeppen of Rock Falls, Vella Simpson of Rock Falls, Lee Cowley of Alabama and Jim Cowley of Oklahoma. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Immanuel Lutheran Church and Morningside of Sterling.
