She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmert Finch and Florence Mae Finch (Baer); and her husband Raymond F. Bass. She is survived by: her children, Bernie Giblin of Sterling, Terrie Sampson (Jim) of Harmon, Jim Giblin (Joan) of Dixon, Randy Bass of Chandler, Mike Bass (Wendi) of Deer Grove, Tim Bass (Sandy) of Mesa, Ariz and Andy Bass (Kristi) of Rock Falls. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Rock River Hospice and Home.
