He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Bonnette and Marian Bonnette (Martin); and his sister Dianna DeGross. He is survived by: his wife Laura Hemminger of Rock Falls; his children, Deanna Duchay of Rock Island, Dennis Duchay of Rock Falls and Tyler Duchay of Rock Falls; his brothers, Robert "Butch" Duchay (Melody) of Warroad, Minn, John Bonnette (Chris) of Syracuse, Kan and Matt Bonnette (Andrea) of Wisc; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Meiborg (Ryan) of Sterling and James Hemminger of Sterling. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
