She is survived by: her children, LeRoy D. Smith (Sherry) and Susan Kuehl (Andy); her sisters, Ethel Nelson and Dorothy Thompson; her grandchildren, Jordan Smith (Kim), Olivia Smith and Tyler Kuehl; her great grandchildren, Kennedie and Lincoln; and her sister-in-law Mary Morris. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established to the Salvation Army.
