It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie C. Sommers (Rock Falls, Illinois), born in Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on August 30, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Wessels and Stella Wessels; her spouse Carl Sommers; and her son Brian Sommers. She is survived by: her daughter Cyndi Lauts (David) of Rock Falls; her grandchildren, Adam Williams (Lauren), Andrea Garriott (Ray), Mark Lauts (Amanda), Michael Lauts, Matthew Lauts, Kate Sommers and Kyle Sommers (Lauren); and her great grandchildren, Austin Williams, Noah Williams, Elijah Williams, Annaliesse Garriott, Lily Lauts, Paisley Lauts, Michael Lauts, Jr., Kyland Lauts, Zoe Sommers and Owen Scott.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
