Handel (Rock Falls, Illinois), born in Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on September 29, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Knowles and Clara Knowles (Schutt); her husband Denis L. Handel; and her sister Paula Panice. She is survived by: her daughters, Justina Waters (KC) of Robertsville, Brooke Depauw of Walnut, Mista Helms (Kevin) of Rock Falls, Chariti Douglass (Brant) of Sterling and Dena Handel of Sterling; her sister Rena Miller (Tommy) of Sterling; her grandchildren, Kelsey Holt (Rusty), Alyssa Leffelman (Damon), Draven Waters, Jalen Waters, Jennifer Merdian Kalib (Tricia Swearingen), Cheyanne Handel, Cobie Douglass, Bailea Douglass, Brea Douglass, Dalton Handel and Tylo Handel; and her great grandchild Rylie Mae.
Masks and social distancing rules will be in effect to allow for 25 person s at a time to rotate through a public visitation to be held on Saturday October 3, 2020 from 9 – 10:30 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home, 1002 12th Avenue in Rock Falls.
