Though Lena may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lena leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnce Gammon and Naomi Gammon (Wilton); her husband Herman Shaw; and her son Michael Shaw. She is survived by: her children, Barbara McCoy, Caraline Vasquez (Michael) and Richard Shaw (Christi) of Rock Falls; her daughter-in-law Pam Shaw of Sandoval; and her sister Elsie Ray of Fairfield. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and 14 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home- Rock Falls (1002 12th Ave, Rock Falls, IL 61071). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Harvest Time Bible Church (1802 Dixon Rd, Rock Falls, IL 61071).
