She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hines and Lena Hines (Devers); her husband Wayne M. Smith; her sisters, Viola Covell, Gladys Dias and Wilma "Tootie" Pursell; and her great great grandchildren, Alexis and Kamren.
She is survived by: her son David Smith (Chris) of Lyndon, IL; her granddaughters, Heather Zimdars (Keith) and Jessica Smith; her great grandchild Lonnie Campos of Phoenix, AZ; her son Matt Smith (Kim) of Rock Falls, IL; her grandchildren, Kody Smith (Lynsey) and Kory Smith (Jordyn); her great grandchildren, Kyle Kaye (Raven), Kayla Ordean (Chad), Keegan Kaye (Stacy), JJ Clevenger, Christian Clevenger, Austin Smith, Elizabeth Smith, Zoe Smith, Keith Zimdars Jr., Halas Coggins, Liam Coggins, Gannon Page, Daulton Page, Weston Smith, Wade Smith, Sawyer Smith, Dawsyn Smith, Graynger Smith, Grace Clevenger and Hudson Clevenger; her great great grandchildren, Kaiden, Maverick, Parachevia, Lillian, Keith III, Bryson, Hayes and Onyx; and also, Lena Pierce, Laura Clevenger (Mike) of Rock Falls, IL, Casey Lewis, James Clevenger (Val), Matt Clevenger (Lauren) and Ben Clevenger.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Alzheimer's Association.
