He is survived by: his wife Karen Unterzuber; his children, Tim Mewhirter (Christine), Jared Mewhirter (Kimberley) of Rock Falls and Donna Miller (Jack) of Stockton, IL; his brothers, Donald Mewhirter (Pat) of Rock Falls and Jack Mewhirter (Debie) of St. Louis; his half-sisters, Pam Clardie (Bob) of Sterling and Sue Hacker (Rusty) of Fulton; and his grandchildren, Samantha, Jack Jr. and Paige.
