He is survived by: his children, Kevin Helms (Mista) of Rock Falls, Todd Helms (Sarah) of Chicago and Laurie Helms of Bloomington; his sisters, Carol Rock (Joe) of Dixon and Marilyn Quick (Gilbert) of Sterling; his sister-in-law Lois Helms of Rock Falls; his grandchildren, Brian Tarbill (Angelica), Brady Tarbill (Jennifer), Kalib Helms (Molly), Madison Helms, Megan Helms, Jacob Helms and Sage Helms; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Julian, Rylie and Kalvin; his close friend Tommy Miller (Rena) of Sterling; and also Mary Chriest of Rock Falls.
