She was predeceased by: her parents, John Downey and Marian Downey (Hardersen); her husband Charles David Hicks; and her siblings, Joanne Hicks, Jerry and Ed Downey.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Bellows (Randy) of Rock Falls and David Hicks (Kim) of Rock Falls. She is also survived by four grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
