He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sheppard and Helen Sheppard (Cavanaugh); his son John; and his great grandchild Blaiksley. He is survived by: his wife Diane P. Manning; his children, Dawn Willman (Josh) of Sterling, Kenneth Sheppard (Suzanne Schuler) of Herndon, VA and Scott Sheppard of Sarasota, FL; his daughter-in-law Melissa Sheppard-Miller of Sterling; and his grandchildren, Jamie Gladstone (Megan) of Jessica Sheppard, J. D., Tyler Willman (Michal), Cooper Willman, Teresa Trump and Wyatt Sheppard. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Andrew Grade School or Newman Central Catholic High School.
